The all rainy Sydney

While sitting on an airplane, it’s always a good time to write and ponder. As a courtesy to all of my new non-Finnish speaking friends I’ll be writing my blog in English from now on in the case that somebody would like to read about my travels.

So, currently I’m sitting on an airplane on my way to Cairns. Sydney was pretty amazing, and I got to fulfill dreams, such as visiting the Opera House and Bondi Beach. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t the best meaning that it was pretty much raining the whole time. In the evenings we were lucky enough not to have rain and were able to walk around the city taking nice photos. Five days sure wasn’t enough for Sydney, but luckily I’m coming back for another 6 days later, so wont worry about it too much :) Based on what I was able to see, it just might be one of my favorites cities in the world. Would definitely love to spend more time there!

Hopefully the weather will be better in Cairns, according to the forecasts it might not be… We’ll see when I get there in a couple of hours. Great Barrier Reef waiting! But no surfing for a while now, since I broke my board at Bondi… All that time at the West Coast without any problems, first time at the East Coast you break your board… Irony?

Thinking of all the places ahead of me, all the adventures, it’s actually hard to realize it. It will be great! Still don’t know exactly where I’m going in Asia, but probably going to find out today, as would be a pretty good idea to finally book the flights a month before. Now my laptop is about to shutdown so I’ll have to continue later again – in Cairns! =)
